We are excited to announce the results of the October 2008 American Warmblood Inspection.  Five get by Raleighs Full Moon participated and all five were awarded their First Premium status with blue ribbons for all!  Scores ranged from 73-76 with the youngest, CR Moonlit Sequins, earning Reserve Champion and tying with the Champion for the highest score of the day!  Proud owners from all over California converged on Arkenfield Farm where Amanda Harrington and her staff warmly received us.  The inspector was none other than Sonya Lowenstein, the inspiration and talent behind the registry.  After the morning’s Inspection, the winning horses were branded.  The exhibitors were served an intimate lunch and got a chance to chat with Sonya who regaled us with stories of Warmblood history and the original horses she grew up with in Germany. Bravo to Fames Moon Shadow +/ for his continued success and impressive wins! The athletic Buckskin is now going solid Third Level Dressage, beating some very competitive open horses and riders. He is also winning in Hunter Hack classes; proving that he can jump as well as perform at Dressage. The diligence of his owner, Michelle McGonagle and trainer, Jennette Scanlon, is paying off with consistent wins and blue ribbons.
