This February, the 2012 spring show season kicked off with the glamorous and competitive 57th Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Our family home is nearby and I have attended this event yearly since 1981. Thrilled to have Moon’s get so beautifully represented, I took these pictures and had an opportunity to visit with some of the trainers and owners who work with the horses.

 This April, the team at Moonrock participated in the Buck Brannaman Colt Starting Clinic held at the fabulous training facility, Gilroy Gates in Hollister, California. Pictured here is our Half Arabian gelding, Cimba C with his handler Brian Seifert. After four days of intense training, with twelve two year olds and their riders in a 50 foot round corral, Cimba learned to be quietly mounted from the pipe corral, accept the bit and to be ridden in the open arena.
